Notice of Closure – Frenchman Coulee Recreation Area
The Frenchman Coulee Recreation Area is closed until further notice. This closure was necessary following the shutdown of Old Vantage Highway (Vantage Road Southwest) in Grant County, which is closed west of Silica Road due to an unstable rockface. At this time, the boat launch facilities and restrooms are unavailable for use.

Notice of Closure – Vantage Boat Launch
The Vantage Boat Launch will be temporarily closed Monday, May 11 through Wednesday, May 13 to allow for parking lot maintenance.During this time, the boat ramp, restrooms, swimming area, and all parking areas will be unavailable.
We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For those seeking alternative recreation opportunities, Wanapum State Park, located just south of Vantage, is a great option.

Boat launch hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
A number of our recreation areas have public access boat launches. Below is the current water level at each launch. River level data updates every hour. Remember to be safe while on the water and beware that river levels can change suddenly without warning. Learn more about water conditions at grantpud.org/river.
